7.1 Candidates belonging to all categories except
Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes for admission to the
Pharmacy Course should have obtained not less than 50% marks
on aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany/
Zoology) at the qualifying examinations (Academic Stream)
after a period of 12 years of study.
7.2 Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled
Tribes, the minimum marks for admission shall be 40% in lieu
of 50% for General Category.
7.3 Graduate candidates should have qualified for the
B.Sc. Degree of an Indian University recognized by the
Association of Indian Universities and accepted as
equivalent by the standing Academic Board and Governing
Council of this University subject to such conditions as may
be prescribed therefore with one of the following subjects
as major subject viz. Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology
and one other prescribed Science subject of study at least
up to the ancillary level: provided that such candidates
shall have passed the earlier qualifying examination (Higher
secondary Examinations or an equivalent examination) with
the subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Botany
and Zoology.
7.4 Where the course content is not as prescribed for
10+2 education structure of the National Committee the
candidates will have to undergo a period of one year
pre-professional training before admission to the Dental
Colleges.
7.5 The Pre-Professional/ Pre-Medical examination with
Physics, Chemistry and Biology, after passing either the
higher secondary school examination or the pre-university or
an equivalent examination. The Pre-Professional/ Pre-Medical
examination shall include.
7.6 Candidates who have studied abroad, the equivalency
of qualification as determined by the Association of Indian
Universities shall from the guidelines to determine the
eligibility and should have passed in the subjects of
Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany/ Zoology) and English
upto the 12th Standard level with 50% marks aggregate.
8. Age Limit for Admission.
The candidates should have
completed the Age of 17 years at the time of admission (or)
would complete the mentioned age on (or) before 31st
December of the admission to the first year B.Pharm course.
9. Each application should be accompanied by Xerox copies
of the following:
a) XII Mark Sheet or its equivalent as
the case may be.
b)Transfer Certificate from the School
last studied.
c)Conduct Certificate from the Head of the
School last studied.
d)Community Certificate issued by a
competent authority in the case of
BC/MBC/SC/ST.
e)Foreign students must also
submit:
a)No Objection certificate of HRD, Government of
India
b)Valid student visa.
10. i)Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria
will receive interview cards which are valid only until the
date specified. The receipt of interview cards does not
guarantee admission. At the time of interview the College
Office will scrutinize all the original certificates of the
candidate. Selected candidates will be issued admission
cards after payment of fees.
ii) The selected candidates have to produce all the
Original Certificates with Three Passport Size Photograph in
the College and they will not be returned till the
completion of the course. They are therefore advised to take
sufficient Xerox copies of all the certificates before
submitting the originals to the College.
iii)Fees once paid will not be refunded. Students
dismissed on disciplinary grounds will forfeit the entire
fees.
iv)A student once enrolled for course is
expected to complete the same.If a student wishes to leave
the college at any time before the completion of the course
he/she will have to pay the entire fees for the whole
course.
